Shirley’s Beach House

My dreams have come true, and now you can enjoy this dream too! I have acquired my very own beach house in the Bethany Beach, DE area and am inviting you to come enjoy the space!

The property is named after my mother, Shirley, who loved the ocean and adventures and would have loved this beach house!

As someone who has lived in DE and MD and enjoyed many days on the beautiful DE seashore, it warms my heart that I not only can use it myself, but also include you too!

My home is located only 2.5 miles from downtown Bethany and the ocean in the neighborhood of Bethany Meadows. It’s a quiet, friendly, safe neighborhood that has it’s own large community pool (right across the street) and tennis/pickleball court, which you will have access to when you stay.

My beach haven is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath end unit townhouse surrounded by a lush garden, green grass and trees. It has a nice backyard patio to enjoy this beautiful setting in the sweet morning light with a cup of coffee, or in the evening with a glass of wine.

I have set it up as my home, with touches I would enjoy. I invite you to come and enjoy the space and local area.

Some of the many amenities include

• Safe, clean, and quiet neighborhood which has a homey vibe

• Large community pool access - just walk across the street

• Sleeps 6 (1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, 1 daybed with trundle) with brand new comfy mattresses and bedding

• 2.5 miles from the ocean (takes 17 minutes to bike and 5 minutes to drive)

• Fully stocked kitchen with upgraded appliances, and a Keurig & cups for your morning brew (there is also a drip coffee pot if you would rather use your own coffee)

• Washer and dryer

• Nice back patio surrounded by flowers, grass and trees where you can relax under the big shade umbrella

• Although it came fully decorated and furnished, I have made some initial changes to make it my own. It’s bright and cheery with unique qualities unlike other commonly rented beach homes. 

• It’s an entire home, not shared by anyone else.

• 2 parking spaces directly in front, making transition from car to house easy and accessible 

Imagine driving up to the house, easily unloading the car, getting settled, jumping into your swimsuit and heading to the pool or beach!

I am renting this wonderful beach house directly from me to you (no rental fees and taxes) saving us both money. The property is set up for weekly rentals from Sunday to Sunday during the peak season of June, July, August with shorter stays available in the off season months. If you prefer a shorter rental time than 1 week during peak season, I will do my best to accommodate your request.

This is my personal home that I am inviting you to stay. Therefore I ask that you respect the property as you would your own. 

This home is a no smoking home. No pets at this time.

Although the house is only 2.5 miles from the beach, there is no Bethany Beach trolley available at my community location. You will need a car or a bike to get to the beach.

You are more then welcome to bring or rent bikes and keep them on the back patio where they will be safe.
